The very first logo I ever designed was for my mother's 2nd watercolour exhibition 'Simple Glaze' in Feb 2005. After having designed the advert for her 1st exhibition with the same title in 2004, I felt that her collection of watercolour works deserved a properly designed logo to represent its quality & values (Please visit Mari Tomita's portfolio page by clicking on the 'Artist' button from the above navigation).

As a designer, it is a great challenge to encompass the vision, values & mission of a company / organisation into a symbol that is unique & original, and yet applicable to a variety of medias (ie. stationary / website / presentation etc.). My hope is that all logos I design will truly reflect the identity of the company / organisation as intended by my clients.

MSCF Outdoor Sign

Client : Morning Star Christian Fellowship

Project Type : Outdoor Sign Design

This logo was designed as a part of the new outdoor sign for Morning Star Christian Fellowship as we needed a new bold style for the purpose of signage. The 'M' of the top line was kept as the original typeface of the church logo to maintain the identity.

L2X Jewellery UK

Client : L2X Jewellery UK

I first met the founder of L2X through Revival Resource Centre when I was working on the LTTNM website; Revival Resource Centre hosts the LTTNM site as well as this site. It was the time when the founder was preparing for the launch of her on-line jewellery business, L2X Jewellery UK.

Light to the Nations Ministries

This logo was designed as a part of the website re-design project I worked on for LTTNM. Although Giancarlo & Catherine didn't request this, I knew that they didn't have a logo for their international ministry. So I thought I would fashion a new logo to compliment the new site design.

IRV Solutions

The director of the procurement consultancy company, IRV Solutions, was one of my first clients who took a chance on me when I started off as a sole trader. The first opportunity he presented me was to design a company logo as a part of the branding exercise for IRV, which also included letterhead design & business presentation production.

Morning Star Christian Fellowship

Client : Pastor Gary Mayer - MSCF

This project was really the start of many creative services I have worked on for MSCF. Thank you Gary for your kind words - "In wanting a new, fresh image for our church we worked with Masa to develop a new strategy, including graphic art for our website, letterhead, signage, business cards etc. He has been very professional to work with and we are excited and pleased with the excellence of his work. It is creative, imaginative and inspired."
